Conducting preventive maintenance and scheduled services on all hoses found on loaders, underground trucks, low profile development drill rigs and support rigs. Spontaneous response to breakdowns on surface and underground. Operating all hose assembly machinery and equipment to carry out assemblies as per supplier or in-house procedures. Advice and train trainees when and if required to do so by Workshop Supervisor. Ensure that work areas are maintained clean and hazard free at all times. Follow and comply with all safety rules and regulations in accordance with the organisation’s BMS procedures at all times
Providing technical support for a variety of manufacturing processes, including quality assurance. Maintenance and repair of plant machine and equipment and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient. Analysing & reducing the incidence of breakdowns and developing strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant. Machining and fabrication. Compiling reports and delivering presentations to staff members and other stakeholders. Focus on continuous improvement of quality, safety of equipment and employees, reduction in manufacturing cost, and on-time product delivery.
